The ‘Pink Ribbon’ golf competition was held on October 25, 2008 and aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer.

Sherwoods joined hands with the Al Hamra Golf Club to organise a special golf competition in aid of breast cancer research, on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at the Al Hamra Golf Club and Resort in Ras Al Khaimah.

The ‘Pink Ribbon’ golf competition was held to mark the ‘World Breast Cancer Awareness Month’ being observed around the world and aimed to create more awareness about various aspects surrounding breast cancer, especially the importance of early detection. All proceeds from the ‘Pink Ribbon’ competition were donated towards the field of breast cancer research.
